Thread: The Man Who Doesn't Eat... Ever

Breatharians. My Reiki uncle claims to know some of them, and according to him, they don't eat, although some of them may still drink water from time to time.

Attentionarians is probably more like it. However, I'm glad that he's submitting his claims to some form of testing. If the testing is done properly this time (this guy was tested in 2003 for about ten days and did fine, but lost some weight so it wasn't really convincing), this should be interesting. Even if he's mostly full of it, which he probably is, he most likely has some interesting stuff to teach us about surviving on small rations.

Well, it is day nine. Supposedly, the human body can't survive without water for seven days and food for two weeks. He still alive?

Quick notes: The world record for surviving without food and water was 18 days, for somebody forgotten about in a German holding cell. He was pretty close to death when they found him, and maybe he got moisture from moss or something but it's a bit longer that what you said.
