Thread: What do you think of the new DV?

Looks snazzy. I can't find where to view my previous posts though, anybody know?

I like it, but I want them to finish the new design.

You go on your profile and, right under your profile image, click 'Find all posts'. It probably won't work yet though, the search index is still being rebuilt (I think).

Everything but the design is nice, and I can't wait for the new design to fix my one issue.

It's pretty awesome, I think.

I could take it or leave it, I hope that it's skinable.

^yea, all the upgrades to sites I use occasionally have sucked lately (Facebook, Youtube), glad to see this one was different.

The homepage will be subject to Stage 3, check the announcements

I love it. Glad the upgrade didn't have any problems. Lots of things you guys had to work on since IceDawg from what I understand. Nice planning and good job. Thanks.

All I have to say is ABOUT TIME! But the skin is.. less than flattering. I'm also unimpressed with the banner as well. Just my thoughts.

Is anyone else moving their mouse way to high up the screen when trying to get back to the index?

It seems great for the most part, but I don't like the banner and a few other details here and there. Like how where the name of the starter of a thread used to be it now says "Started by ..." It just makes it a bit harder to look for.

Yeah. The skin and banner does need a make over.

If Slash caught you talking about the skin sucking he'd kill you stage 2 is a custom skin.

Its cool but it will take some getting used to.

I don't like the icons for "read/unread" posts. They confuse me lol

First time I noticed the change, I came here with the intent of using the search function to find something... I suppose the functionality is OK, but then again I didn't think there was anything wrong with the system we had in place before. Although I am liking the quick reply option.

I know the look of the forum is going to change soon, but the way it looks now makes me want to claw my eyes out. And I agree with Jeff, that banner is pretty lackluster.

I think the site should have a shout box. Just a thought though I had a hard time trying to figure out how to check my threads and other threads. I figured it out at the last minute. Still the site looks good.

I like the old way more, kind of, and I can't find my thaked posts.

I kind of like the skin, I was a die hard last update guy, but im adjusting and I think this looks even better.

I got scared when I logged in today. It's a bit confusing, but I'm just used to the old DV
