I had my first exam yesterday, I'm not too nervous.
I haven't had an exam in 5 years. :D
I have my first exam in 9 days, and then a lot of others for about one month..
Thanks for reminding me lol
See you all in a month when they are done
(not really just kidding)
Exams are nothing to worry about. Going OMG OMG examz0rz! and cramming everything in is likely to only make it more difficult for you.
I'm assuming that you're in college, no? What year? Freshman finals are usually nothing, unless they're chemistry. In fact, a lot of professors will tell you exactly what is on the final, or at least give you some idea.
Read or at least skim everything that was assigned in your syllabus. If it's a math or chem. or some course like it, write down any important formulas and what they're used for.
If you've taken good notes in your lectures, read through them at least three times and highlight anything important (formulas, constants, etc.) Professors are usually full of themselves and will base their exam mostly off of the lecture.
If you're really stuck, scared, or don't understand the material at all, talk to your professor during office hours (they actually love being bothered by their students,) talk to the TA, and if you're still not confident enough, join a study group.
EDIT: I've just checked your profile and have come to the conclusion that you're not likely to be out of high school yet. In that case, if you're extremely worried about your exam, talk to the teacher. Most will tell you exactly what is on the exam.
Just finished giving my last oral exams of the year. If any of my students ask to retake a test, they're getting a big whopping NO... and if they don't understand, they'll get a big whopping НЕТ (NIET)! It's been about 3 years since I've taken an exam, unless you count the test I took last summer to certify myself for this teaching program.
Best of luck to all of you! I know you're probably going to anyway, but try not to put things off until the last minute.
This friday, I've got an exam which will determine what future I have.
If I get a B, I will go to university to do the thing I want to do most. Pressure is on.
I have got fuck*ng IGCSE exams at the moment, and if i get 'A' grade in all my subjects, (which is possible) I will enter university! I am taking 10 subjects, though.
Wish all of my fellow comrades-in-pain good luck!
