I don't know.The cultures have evolved differently.

No, we are just afraid that if we persecute them, as they should be persecuted, they will rise up and kill us all. Most of them are telekinetic, you see.

Ginger hair originated fully from Scotland and Ireland. Nowhere else.

I don't think I've ever been called a Ginger until my brother saw this one episode of South Park. After that, it seemed like everyone started calling Red Heads gingers and using it as a way to make fun of red heads saying they have no soul and what not.

I thought the whole "ginger" thing originated from that red haired girl on those old cookies "Ginger Snaps." I think I may be wrong about that though lol. Anyway, after that south park episode, the term "ginger" has been widely used as a derogatory representation of people with pale skin, red hair, and/or freckles. I thought it was something that would blow over but more and more I'm hearing and reading of people who have developed genuine fears of "Gingers." Last week, I remember hearing about one American guy who refused to date/marry a red haired female because he was afraid his kids would (and I quote) "turn out ginger." Also, on a side note.. women with red hair are associated with witchcraft among some groups.

At any rate though, I think Earth would be boring without the different flavors we have on the Earth. Variety is what makes Earth so spicy and delectable. Red hair, black hair, pale skin, black skin, whatever.. it's all awesome in my book. People who are insanely ignorant harbor such fears and hate. SP propagated the notion that red haired people have no souls, but I'm inclined to believe people who take those kinds of things seriously (obviously Trey and Matt don't), lack hearts.

The last time Americans hated people because of some kind of body-related colour didn't work out so well.

Where I come from, red heads have always been called "Ginger". And we have also always made fun of them... but in a fun and laughable way.
Over here, everyone makes fun of everyone, and nobody takes offence.

This is a place where people can make a joke without being considered a prick, and it is a place where people can take a joke without crying about it. And where people who, in the odd occasion, actually do it to try to offend people, the victims end up doing something back to make it even (Unfortunately, that something is sometimes physical violence)
But my point is... problems like what is being described in this thread is not actually a problem here.

If they do dislike them in Britian, its probably because they are likely from scotland or ireland. An Amarican doesn't have any reason to dislike any of them, though there are a few reasons why someone from Britian may not like either of them.

So to answer the question, its probably for political and histroical reasons.
