lol. I'm not judging them as a whole person, after all humans are dynamic characters as apposed to flat characters, to use literary terms. Just for the economy of expression, I use generalizations. and in this generalization I think that style is frankly douchebagiesh (is that even a word). The person that purposely wears bowler hats, tears their genes, dies their hair purple and wears a t-shirt that says "PHRESH" might not be a douche bag, hell they may be the greatest person in the world. Still, a gay way to dress in my opinion. and like it or not how people dress is taken as a statement of their personality. I know, such a cruel world. But oh well.
And how long did it take medieval dress styles like doublets and tight hose to evolve into modern day T-shirts and jeans? If you think today's generation is the only one to have gone "retro" over the centuries, you're most definitely mistaken. And on top of that, how is something unoriginal just because it's been done before? Star Wars, for example, "steals" plenty of ideas from samurai movies, Flash Gordon, etc., yet it still managed to make all those ideas seem new and fresh. Would you consider that an unoriginal series?
I don't know, I haven't seen any of those series. But umm, you have a point. Just in my opinion, I think some retro ways of dressing are very well gay...Like I said just an opinion. Maybe it will evolve into something I do not perceive as being gay or hipsterish someday. I guess it just depends on your outlook. That I do not like something is not exclusively related to whether or not it is borrowed a past decade or even century (i.e originality). Just there is a difference between being a hipster douche and letting a music style or dress style inspire you or your music (Bhangra, Fok Metal (you probably dont like it but some of it is okay to me). It just comes down to opinion I guess, especially where you define the difference and what not. anyway you are welcome to yours.
