I want to try the most popular MP3 for inducing lucid dreams. Thanks.
Which MP3 from where? Can you supply the link to the site?
I think he refers to binaural beats, I haven't tried them all but I can say that i-Doser didn't work for me.
I'm going to try isochronic tones soon though.
I suppose this is a good free resource.
ISO TONES did not work for me! I had 0 recall for a week after using them once!
I would not try them...
Isochronic tones have worked for me, you just have to try a bunch of different ones until you find one that works.
What mp3? Binaural beats? Isochronics? Subliminal Messaging?
I don't have just one that worked best, and even if I did: It doesn't mean what works for me will work for you.
Ahh, I thought you guys would know that I'm referring to the MP3s in the Audio Aid Repository sticky.
For me? Lucid Remix and the ultimate lucid induction. Those both were very helpful with my first few WBTBs I attempted when I first joined dream views. I would listen to them every night before bed and when I woke up in the middle.
The subliminal ones work much better than the binural beats. ;)
Brainwave entrainment alone will do nothing to induce lucidity. However, you can use it to improve your daily meditation routine to develop awareness or to quickly relax the mind and body before attempting to WILD. Also you can use brainwave entrainment to hypnotise yourself alongside suggestions to improve lucidity. The study, 'EEG patterns Associated with Hypnotisability' conducted by D. Corydon Hammond, Ph.D., suggests a very specific brainwave pattern associated with high levels of hypnotisability, with a significant frequency of 6.5Hz. In my experience self-hypnosis outperforms subliminal reprogramming, but that isn't the case for everyone. Isochronic tones are far superior to binaural beats for brainwave entrainment.
I have yet to find or create an MP3 that affects me while I'm sleeping.
Thusfar I have just dozed off, ceased hearing sound from my physical surroundings and woke up to it still playing.
I've created some ambient MP3s intended as an anchor during WILDs and as a potential way to incubate scenes/situations into dreams.
2 of them I've uploaded here:
skallonmusic's sounds on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free
The 2 tracks intended as Lucid Aids are "Celtic Deities" and "IwishWellInTheWishingWell"
They are the only 2 tracks available for downloading. So feel free to download and experiment with them as a Lucid Aid.
The rest of it are tracks I composed in Reason, varying from Ska, Dub and Jazz to Salsa, Jungle and Classical.
Enjoy :)
