      Are Binaural beats safe?

Yesterday I downloaded the video on this page YouTube - Sonic Dream - Binaural Beats Theta Astral Travel Induction turned it into an mp3 and put it on my ipod. I didn't get a lucid dream or an OBE but it did feel like it had an effect on my brainwaves. As I was falling asleep I had alot of HI where I was in my room and this guy threw a bomb on the ground and as I came out of it I actually heard an explosion. I was wondering if Binaural beats are safe. Also this is probably a really stupid question but if I have the song on a loop it won't cause me to be stuck in a dream will it? sorry, I don't know much about Binaural beats

Yes they are completely safe to use for sleep...just not safe when driving or operating heavy machinery I would assume.

Having a song on a loop will not cause you to become stuck in a dream lol. They might help you get into the correct brain state for astral projection more quickly, but when it comes time to wake up...there's no way that binaural beats could interfere with the brains natural REM-sleep-off mechanism, which is hormonal. The binaural beats can assist normal brain functioning symbiotically, but they aren't strong enough to interrupt or interfere with those same brain functions. That's why they only work when attempting to get into a particular (theta) brain state.

Have any of you actually had positive results with any binaural beats apps? Specifically for PC or ideally ipod/iphone? I have about 15 apps. I use them every now and then. Headache killing has actually worked perfectly for me once when I was incredibly sick and had a brutal headache but was too sick to even think of taking tylenol or anything. As far as anything else so far no go for me. I have issues with dreaming in general thanks to using cannabis medicinally. I simply CAN NOT dream (remember them if you wanna say that) when I use it after say 7PM. I also wake up exhausted rather than well rested. On nights I avoid using it after 7 I am guaranteed to have a very vivid (not lucid) dream.

Yes, Brain Wave, for iphone is a great app in my opinion. It works for me. Also, it's not binaural beats, but it's effing amazing...download the free app Naturespace. It's 3D holographic audio and it makes me hallucinate in a good way.
