My unintentional lucid dream with Bullet Proof

Just a warning this is pretty long....

So a week or two go I had my first lucid dream. I completely attribute it to the supplement "Bullet Proof" by Muscle Pharm. I took this supplement with no intentions of having a lucid dream but instead to get better recovery from workouts and more refreshing sleep. The first couple times I took it I definately noticed feeling much more refreshed after waking up and a lot less sore. Then one night I was in a dream and my grandpa came up to me and told me it was time to wake up. I then told him that I was going to stay asleep and have fun in my dream. From this point on I was completely lucid and had 100% control over everything. I couldn't make things pop up out of no where, but if I wanted something to appear I would just visualize it and then when I walked into a new room it would be there. Also I was not forced to wake up and could have stayed in this dream as long as I wanted to. But eventually I started to become very claustrophobic. This part gets confusing but bear with me. At this point I was still in my dream having a great time, but I was also aware of the exact position I was sleeping in on my bed in real life. I was lying down sideways with my pillow being lied down upon by my head on one side, and I had the other side folded over my head (sorry if that didn't make sense but it is the best I could describe it) so my hand was dangling in front of my face. Now I started to get wry claustrophobic and wanted to wake up badly. I tried to focus and tell my self to wake up but I remained in my dream. Eventually through a lot of focus I was able to move my hand in real life. I moved it an inch or two over to my face and started to pinch my forehead hard. This woke me up but not without side effects. It was still night when I woke up so I went back to sleep, but when I woke up in the morning I had a mark on my forehead from when I pinched it. This was the first time I had a lucid dream and it was completely unintentional. I wasn't doing reality checks or dream logs or anything that would have caused this dream prior. I have not had another lucid dream since but my quality of sleep has remained improved. Also I have had sleep paralysis on many occasions before (not in a month or two) and the experience I had with not being able to wake up from this dream was similar and different. Similar because my mind was awake but my body still sleeping, but different because while all this was going on I was still having my lucid dream. Sorry for how long this is but I just thought I would share.

Sounds on par with ZMA. Some of those supplements have vitamins and combinations that can help. I've had several vivid experiences with ZMA.

Ya the sleep ingredients are GABA and ZMA along with various amino acids.

      Yup!!

Yup I had one more the other day. but im not sure if i can attribute it solely to this because I have been trying to have them lately. (it was wbtb and i did a reality check in the dream and was able to achieve and maintain lucidity until my sister woke me up)

Well I just bought the grape flavor one from bodybuilding.com since I'm currently doing the p90x work out and need a supplement lol. Will post results when it gets here . Also seems promising that they say it promotes REM sleep but we'll see... And do you take it before you go to bed or right after a work out?

About 45 minutes to 1 hour before bed. Post your results in here so I don't miss it. Also it says serving size is 1/2 to 1 scoop and I take 1. Good Luck!

I'll try this when I start lifting again. My back and arm are all messed up, so I haven't been able to workout for over 6 months.

Taking supplement to achieve lucidity? interesting. There is a more effective and easier way to do that and it cost you nothing.

There's supplements for lucid dreaming. Have you heard of galantamine and choline? A ton of people on here have tried that including myself and have had excellent success with it. But I mean you still need to know how to lucid dream with some sort of a technique.

Ya I had another last night and it was weird. I had "woke up" in my bed and realized I was in a dream after doing a reality check. Then I just went around and enjoyed my LD until i lost it and woke up. Except I did a reality check after waking up again and was still in a dream. I repeatedly had false awakenings (at least 5) until my alarm went off. It was wbtb also.

Some time ago I tried a product called Galanatamind (4mg) at WBTB and all i ended up with was insomnia !! I tried it 4 times over 4 consecutive weeks and the results were the same ; no sleep , no dreams...I also took ltheanine as well 45 mins before G to make sure it would help with the sleep with no results I even recently tried halving the pill and trying it that way and i still had the same results....Needless to say it was one of the biggest disappointments i ever experienced as i had read those success stories and seemed very promising....

That's sucks. Yea it worked for me pretty much everytime I took it. And if it kept me awake, I would just end up in sleep paralysis. Did you just take it and go right back to sleep because that's what I would do. Otherwise, if you stay up to long, you'll have trouble going back to sleep.

Yeah i took it right before sleep in the end of wbtb...First i thought maybe there was something i wasnt doing correctly then i went thru all the steps leading up to it and there wasnt anything wrong with my procedure , my system just didnt like the thing...I pretty much tried most of the supplement things like ; nicotine patches , galantamind , the infamous thomas yuschak amino acid combo , mugwort tea , they all gave me only one thing ; Insomnia...I wouldnt mind trying the bullet proof supplement though ...

That's really sucks it didn't work for you, especially seeing all the success other have had. But it doesn't work for everyone.
