      My personal supplement research

I just wanted to share my successful supplement trials. None of this is fact, just my own personal findings. I'm also generally quite sensitive to chemicals. I have not tried these willy-nilly. I have taken them at the same time each day, with 3 day break/detox inbetween each test. I also have a largely vegan diet, and therefore dont anticipate that food and additives/preservatives/other chemicals or natural MAOIs etc would have affected the trials. These results are based on my personal tests along with Yuschak's wisdom -

      1. I've tried different combos of amino acid blends - L-aspartame, L-theanine, L-tyrosine, and L-glutamine and different dosages, and had 0 luck.

      2. Calea does not help with dreaming or recall, and has no effect on me. Once or twice it has made my mind race though, and I can see how it 'could' help. I have tried it before bed, and at WBTB.

      3. Silene Capensis comes with some grave warnings about crazy dreams, and irreversible vivid dreaming that I read somewhere. Can't say that it's affected me in the slightest.

      4. THC suppresses REM sleep, and also makes dream recall almost impossible. Not recommended.

      5. Caffeine and/or nicotine increase vividness if you can actually get back to sleep again which is unlikely, and of course are addictive.

      6. B6 does increase vividness dramatically but temporarily. Can not be taken regularly or it loses it's affect

      7. I have not tested extensively: B5, B12, L-dopa

      8. 'Galantamind' (8mg Galantamine + 200mg Choline) DOES have a major major effect. When taken at WBTB.

      9. Alpha-GPC beats straight up Choline.

      10. 5-HTP does surpress dreams and make for more effective deep sleep. * Do not take with B vitamins with 5 HTP - some studies suggest that B vitamins help 5-HTP metabolize to serotonin in the gut rather than the brain which causes heart problems. I don't know how true this is - best to avoid.

My perfect formula so far that gives 100% success:

      1. Take 1x5-HTP 100mg about 60-90m before sleep. This will make you sleepy, and surpress REM sleep so you can get a good 4.5-6h deep sleep. Also may increase likelyhood of REM rebound after WBTB.
      2. When waking up naturally after 5h or so, take 1xGalantamind (8mg Galantamine, 200mg Choline), and 1xAlpha-GPC 300mg
      3. After your lucid attempts in the morning, take 2400mg piracetam. If you get a headache after, take 800mg piracetam again up to 3 further times in the day.

I am going to try replacing galantamine with L-dopa and then also try combining them.

You can only do this every other day maximum. I personally try to stick to once every 3 days. I haven't tried this every single day - it will probably mess you up somewhat in the long term.

p.s. I'm not a doctor. Don't blame me if you try this and anything goes wrong. I have researched the various supplements EXTENSIVELY before trying anything, and strongly suggest that you do the same. It is possible to temporarily and/or permenantely desensitive your various receptors from too much abuse. PLEASE do your research before taking anything.
