A person to watch me sleep every night and whisper "you are dreaming" when I'm in REM sleep.
So sort of a more human version of the novadreamer :D
I wouldn't buy anything. I want to have a lucid life the normal way, not with "cheats" xD!
Sort of related to Lucid Dreaming. I would buy a mind machine for my entire body. It would play Isochronic tones, it would flash the frequency with LEDs, it would administer EMFs to my brain, and it would shock my entire body with small electrical shocks in sync with the frequency. I think this would be a really awesome, and extremely trippy experience. I really enjoy being electrocuted, I carry around a shocker lighter for this purpose. I think it would be really cool to experiment with Brainwave Entrainment and administered electrical shocks.
Oh I would also buy infinite supplies of weed, shrooms, acid, DMT, and salvia. Then life itself would be a lucid dream. xD
New blankets and a pillow.
I would go to one of Stephen LaBerge's retreats. Like the one that's going on in Hawaii right now *sigh* :(
New Bed, New Pillows, Choline Bitartrate, and a NovaDreamer!
Hmmm, a bed, pillows, and blankets would be nice.
A mansion in some nice place.
Obviously to help me relax and thereby achieve lucidity more easily.
Mystycal wins.
Also: Sensory Deprivation Chamber.
I won't buy anything. I will employ Ev to help build the next generation of products and experiment with vitamins.
Lol, and what if EV gets infinite supply of money first? Who will employ whom then, huh? :P
With infinite money, I'd buy out some of the big pharma, like Johnson and Johnson, Pfizer, Merck to work out the brain chemistry involved in dreaming. I mean really understand the details, how they apply to regular people, not sleep apnea, not sleep disorders, but to understand why regular people naturally dream each night. There's a huge gap in this area of research, as it cannot be easily monetized.
Then I'd buy out and run Apple and Google in parallel to create the next generation of AI, smart enough to actually understand what the big pharma would learn. The AI would control detection equipment and peripherals for lucid dream induction. Think the "Inception" box the size of a credit card.
Then would come the matrix, the happy Utopian kind :)
Infinite+infinite=2infinite, 2infinite>infinite, duh. I would get an elective class put in all schools about lucid dreaming. For me, I would get a bigger bed.
Would this credit-card-sized device contain chemicals/pharmaceuticals and a means of delivering them? I'm curious to know more about the design of the device you're imagining. Specifically, if it does contain chemicals, how do you get it to be that small?
LOL! Good point.
Don't know about pharmaceuticals. If they are required, this would require a means of injecting them, and letting them cross the blood/brain barrier. This would likely mean a "plug" like the one in the matrix.
If pharmaceuticals are not required, this would use electromagnetic fields, like the "god helmet".
Ah, I see. I like option b) better, and it makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.
I would hire Stephen LaBerge or perhaps an entourage of tibbetian dream yoga monks to follow me around all day. We would occasionally do a fist-bump or high-five as our reality check.
Those of you with hopes of an administered chemical that helps you lucid dream.. I'm studying biomaterial engineering, which most recently created a male contraceptive patch, and I will create a lucid dream patch for you. Just give me a few years plox.
I would buy Hugh Hefner's Playboy mansion with the Girls included. I could have a sleep in if you know what I mean, so I would never need to lucid dream. :shadewink:
