I know people use 6 seeds or lower to sleep or remove nausea, and I believe i've read of people having more vivid dreams after ingesting datura, so it might be worth trying. |

I just came across a post at the shroomery describing the effects of very low doses of datura seed tea on lucid dreaming. Said post highly recommends it. Of course datura in anything but ridiculously low dosage is completely f**king nuts but it seems to me something to be cautiously looked into at those humble levels.Anyone had any experience with this plant? |

This incredibly dangerous. Datura is a poison and a deleriant and I would never willingly take such a hellish plant on purpose. |

I have read the Erowid reports. I know the nature of the plant. One would have to be very careful and start with a very low dose. The argument that because at certain doses this plant is dangerous therefore it should be avoided no matter what the dose is more scaredy-cat than scientific. I have tried two and three seeds before going to bed. Dreams seem more vivid on this regimen--but it is unwise to continue it for more than one or two days because there can be a build up of certain chemical and this will begin to adversely influence one's health. So kyou might use , say, three seeds one day a week without noticeable health issues.More than than may not be advisable. Of course some people may be more sensitive than others and they would have to experiment to find this out. |
