Marley's mellow mood
This is one of those new drinks that are the opposite of an energy drink. I split one with my girlfriend earlier and I had some pretty vivid dreams. Do you think this would make for a good lucid aid?

They taste really good too, no corn syrup either.
Active ingredients:
melatonin, kava kava, valerian root, lemon balm, chamomile, hops extract, and passion flower extract.
Although on the home page kava kava is not listed, so I'm not sure, the bottle's in my car, I'll check later.

Hey,
The technical term for these are relaxation drinks, and in for lucid dreaming they act just like melatonin + vitamin B6. That combo is very potent for dream enhancement, while everything else is fluff. I even considered starting my own beverage company focused on dream enhancing drinks with the ingredients above.
In terms of a lucid aid, it is way too pricy for that. That can probably cost you 2-4$, and it's a one time deal. At the same time a bottle of melatonin +vitamin B6 would cost you <20$ and have about 100 doses, so 0.2$ per dose or 10-20 times cheaper.

Sounds interesting, if they could make a drink that can make you have several lucid dreams it would surely be tempting to buy..but I would still just do it the natural way. :) Although I might try one some time just for the experience of it.

Make some crappy soft drink, fill it with Melatonin.

The reason you probably had vivid dreams is because of the Melatonin and other sleep aids in the drink, or maybe just because of a placebo effect.
