O.k., I'm sure there are better working herbs I haven't tried, but I've tried drinking a big cup of Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) tea about two hours before going to bed. The result - very vivid dreams!
I was NOT lucid, but they were incredibly vivid!
It has happened each time I did it, so three times total. Coincidence? I think not.
