Did you look up any facts on this? I really don't think it was the Ice Cream that was helping. Either way, I've got some Ben & Jerrys Cherry Garcia that I plan on devouring tonight. I'll see if it helps.
Let us know the results please, would like to know :)
Moved to lucid aids......
Ice cream? D: I love ice cream.. I'll have to try it once and see how vivid they are.. someone had posted about apple juice somewhere and I'm trying that tonight.
I eat a lot of ice cream with little improvement in vividness. I'm pretty sure it's because the variety I have doesn't contain vitamin B6, which is known to help recall and vividness.
What else did you eat that night? :)
I've been looking for something to take for B6...any suggestions?
Nutrient Information - Good Sources: Vitamin B6
^ Go crazy! I find tuna is really good, as is salmon (it's not on the list though).
I just had more than half a pint of peanut butter ice cream. Maybe this will work.
Thanks! :D I absolutely love salmon, and tuna is good too. I eat a lot of bananas usually but I've heard they help with B6 too.
Yah B6 seems to be a factor with DILD's For me Salmon and Bananas really do the trick.
I've had ice cream a lot before going to sleep, but to no avail.
Is it a special type/flavoe of icecream?

I'm guessing a sure bet would be banana ice cream, if I had to choose one. Then there's whatever that B&J flavor is called... Chunky Monkey? :P Very tasty.
Mmm.. banana ice cream :D I've read somewhere that if you freeze bananas and then put them in the blender it'll sorta be like the texture of ice cream. I tried it once and it actually turned out pretty good.
Interestingly enough I went out of my way last night and googled what foods had the highest amount of B6, and of course Banana's were #2 right next to Tuna. I also found out eating cereal and having milk contains good amounts of B6. Being the curious bear I am, I ate a banana and had some milk before bed. I'm proud to report that the results were as anticipated and I certainly remember my dreams more clearly. Hopefully this wasn't a fluke and it will keep happening.
As for Ice cream, I've always had a habit of eating ice cream before bed but it did nothing for me. Maybe it's just the brand, who knows. For the most part, I think just eating the banana's before bed and some milk could do wonders.
I had some cereal with milk lastnight and some apple juice.. and I did notice that I still had a lot of fragments, but one of them was longer than my usual. My journal entry this morning just seemed a lot longer than the previous ones. So far I've been trying this whole LD thing for 3 days. All 3 I've had some sort of dream or dream fragment to write down.. so hopefully that's a good sign o:
I think I might be the only person in the world who doesn't like ice cream. I don't like frozen food. I feel like I can't taste it properly.
