Working on an extensive Lucid Dreaming audio project
Hey guys I'm a composer/audio engineer/lucid dream enthusiast
ANYWAY
I had an idea of using Binaural beats, nature sounds, ambient composition, and possibly vocal suggestions to RC
I was wondering if anyone was aware of the different brain frequencies (gamma/beta/alpha/theta/delta) that correlated with the different stages of sleep.
What I would like to do is create multiple tracks of different lengths that transitions you from being awake to light sleep to deep sleep to light sleep and then to REM. I would make different lengths so people could choose how long they would like to be in each stage (if this is even possible, idk just thought it was a cool idea)
I went to school and learned jazz composition and thought this would be a cool way to experiment with all of the colors and contours I learned about without being extremely traditional.
I also had an idea that I could create tracks based on different vocal suggestions, and possibly even paint a dream that way. For example: Paint a scene with words that the dreamer is the emperor of ancient Rome and create realistic settings of relevant historical yet entertaining scenarios. There is also potential to create something for educational purposes like studying history or social sciences.
Anyway all I really need to get started is the brain frequencies that correlate with the sleep stages. I'd love to make these and share them with everyone on the board! even if you don't know let me know what you think of the idea.
