A thirty minute deep meditation soundtrack to shift you into a higher dimension

I just found this free soundtrack:
Free Deep Meditation Sounds - Binaural Beats

Here is part of the description from the website:

This meditation aid may induce a deep trance state. It may take us to a deep place at a root energy level where we may experience a powerful connection with the core of our inner being. The OM sound is an ancient and powerful mantra which can create this connection (this can be verified by chanting it during an out-of-body experience).

The subtle binaural sound will harmonise our brainwaves to aid us in this. In some cases this may lead to what some people describe as “drowsiness”, sleep, with increased dream activity. Enhanced dream activity is a sign that we are awakening to our inner life. The sound may also induce a trance state which may lead to sleep paralysis, which can be used to induce OBEs or lucid dreams.

The two “Ping” sounds are there to create lucidity within this state rather than waking you up to physical awareness. You may use this by telling yourself beforehand that you wish to become lucid at this sound.

I would give this a try, has anyone really had that much success with binural beats? I suspect they could perhaps be a placebo.

I've tried a few relaxation binaural beats and isochronic tones out before and it did seem to work but as you say, I really do think most of them are placebo.

I have tried a few, have not had a chance to try this one yet. One of them changed my pattern of breathing to that of a sleeping person, while keeping me aware. Got some mild SP and some HHs forming. Can't vouch for all of them, but some of them really change your brain waves to something, that you would get while meditating. I think you need to try the same one more than once, as there may be other circumstance that make it not work at that particular time.

The only way I can see this working is to do this. Use isochronic tones instead of binaural beats. Firstly they are more effective, and secondly, isochronic tones will work with speakers whereas binaurals with only work with just headphones. Our dominant brainwave patterns are at a theta frequency when we dream. Having a tone palying in the background continually when we sleep is going to greatly affect our sleep cycle. I have read reports that it has caused an awful nights sleep for people. The trick I think is to create a six hour long mp3 with mostly silence on it and to put short bursts of isochronic tones at an alpha frequency during our REM periods of theta activity. When we enter a REM period our dominant brainwaves will move from a delta frequency to a theta frequency and we will dream at some point. Hopefully on our silent mp3 track there will be a burst of an alpha frequency isochronic tone to coincide with a dream and raise our brainwave frequencies just enough to induce a dose of conscious awareness that hopefully would lead to question the reality of the dream. The frequency would have to be of the lower alpha range so as not to pull us out of the dream and bring us into light sleep or even wake us up. This is all conjecture and I may get around to experimenting with this one day
