      the placibo effect

hi lucid dreamers a while ago i read a post about peanut butter increasing the vividness of your dreams but i must have gotten the post confused with another because at the time i thought that peanut butter induced lucid dreams so i got some and ate some before i went to bed. that night i had a vivid lucid dream purely because i thought the peanut butter would give me one and when i did a reality check there was already a hole through the palm of my hand for my finger to go through. so that got me thinking...what i want is for someone to wait about a month or two so everyone has forgotten this thread. then post a thread saying that a certain type of food will induce lucid dreams.

Lol. It was no doubt your intention to become Lucid that caused your Lucidity.

      But whatever helps...

a placibo and intent are two different things. i intend to have a lucid every night but i dont. and if you dont like the idea then dont reply. just be an antaginist.

Huh? Wow. I'm not sure here if you are being wrongfully hostile, or if you thought I was. I wasn't.

Anyway, intention causes Lucidity. Obviously not every night without extended concentration, but it does. You had Lucid Dreaming on the brain and you became Lucid.

I was wondering though. You say you went to RC. What made you want to RC? Was it random, or did you see something odd that made you think, hey I better do an RC?

sorry if my last post sounded hostile or angry its just that i thought your comment "but whatever helps" seamed a little condecending "i think thats the right word?". i randomly realised i was dreaming then i did the rc to make sure.

Ah, I see. No worries. I should have extended that comment to. Whatever helps to set the intention more firmly into your mind.
