Anyone had any luck taking galantamine+choline before sleep?

Unfortunately I have had very little luck with galanatamine+choline, even with upping the dose to 8mg of galantamine. I normally take it when I wake up at around 4am but I have never had a proper lucid dream even after taking it at least 15 times now.

I don't know why it won't work for me as it seems to work for almost everyone. I am starting to wonder if the batch I have are duds?

I have thought about taking it before bed (at around 11pm) which I know goes against what Yuschak advises but since I find galantamine sucks for me, I have nothing to lose.

Has anyone had any luck taking it before sleep?

You get no increased vividness or recall? I have tried this combo twice and although I haven't had an LD with them yet my dreams have improved greatly. I usually remember fragments from dreams, sometimes I'll jot down 10 - 20 fragments per night but there's little narrative and memories are sketchy.

On this combo I recall full narratives and the detail in the dreams is excellent. The dream characters also seem more 'aware' and real.

In the dreams I know I have taken the G+C combo but the dream is about me having to remember something then get back to bed to try and LD. So, so close but I'm just not that aware in the dream for it all to click. I need to do some more work (RC's, Autosuggestion, MILD etc) and/or up the 4mg Galantamine dose to 8mg.

If its of interest I use 4mg Galantamine and 500mg Choline B

      Maybe try some Alpha-GPC?

And I wouldn't take them before bed - you'll just mess up your sleep I think

      Your probably right about that.

Although I don't think the galantamine and choline will hurt you to try, in my experience they do have mild side affects I don't like. I wouldn't recommend taking more than a few times a month.

Taking other things, I would recommend a daily vitamin, not eating much sugar past lunch, and a banana at dinner time.
There are also various juices that are supposed to be good, go for fresh juice without preservative.

Well, I took a pill last night before bed (1 x galantamine 4mg and choline 200mg) and although my dreams were a bit more vivid, nothing to write home about but certainly better than taking it at 4am. Didn't stop me from sleeping and have had no bad side effects. I guess g+c just isn't the right stuff for me . I've had more vividness from eating peanut butter.
