Yes, lucid dreaming is amazing, that's why people here spend their time on it. But I think you normally shouldn't spend money because you don't have to. These masks can help, but the thing is that masks before the remee costed 250$-300$+ and did like one tenth of what remee does, and it is an open-source project aswell. You can make a simillar mask yourself, there are even some kits out there for sale for like 10$, but I suggest sticking to traditional lucid dreaming techniques or generally techniques that don't DEPEND on physical aids, because you'll end up having no other way of being lucid.

Another thing is that this kind of induction doesn't work for everybody, and you may have problems. I would buy the mask though if I had some money to spare, just to have some fun with it or reprogram it, since it has some interesting features.

Lucid dreaming is of no value you can count with money, it is priceless. But you don't have to spend money for it. If the remee was the only way of becoming lucid, then YES, it's worth the money, but there are traditional techniques which are a lot stronger than EILD (Externally/Electronically Induced Lucid Dream) techniques. Technology can help though, as long as you don't get to depend to it. The only electronic aid you may need if you are like me is a reality check reminder. Just any kind of interval timer to remind you to reality check. Trust me, it will help you so much, you will need nothing else.

I used to not like the idea of EILD because to many LD'rs it seems like cheating or unnatural but honestly it works just as well as any other technique. It can be really handy to get you started into lucid dreaming, get to know the dream scene and eventually you won't need the mask anymore. I don't want one because I like the challenge but I don't think there is any shame or wasting in buying one of these.
Just remember that the remee takes alot of work too, you still have to say mantras and RC's. If you want it, go for it.

They may or may not work for you. It depends, if you will be able to train yourself to notice flashing lights of the remee as a dream sign. For that I would recommend you RC and say mantras on same flashing lights during day. But just so you know, you may not see same red flashing lights in a dream. You may see a red sun, police cars lights, red christmas lights, or pretty much anything else. Good luck.
