      Galantamine without Choline?

Hi, A few days ago I heard about galantamine. I got really excited to try it out so I ordered 30 8mg caps of galantamine. I kept reading about lucid dreaming with galantamine and found out that most people also use choline and a few other supplements.

My question is: Will using only galantamine (no choline etc.) still give vivid dreams and possible increase in lucid dreaming?

It should cause long and vivid dreams. Galantamine slows down elimination of choline from your brain, which allows choline to build up. Just make sure you give it enough time to clear out from your system. Take it only every other night, or even less frequently.

People take choline to help with buildup. You can buy it in any health store as a supplement. (in US) It's much less expensive than galantamine. Check out Advanced lucid dreaming - The power of supplements by Thomas Yuschak. You can find it on the web to read.

If you are new to lucid dreaming, I would recommend you get some solid skills first, before taking these supplements. They will not get you a lucid dream by itself. You have to practice for DILDs and WILDs, and supplements may help you. Otherwise everybody taking these supplements for other purposes would be lucid dreaming. Good luck.

It will, but choline will greatly add to these effects. With the extra acetylcholine you'd have in your system, your dreams would be even more vivid. It's not absolutely necessary, though.
