Do binaural beats work?
I looked some up on YouTube and was surprised to find a lot of them. Which beats work for which thing, like dream recall, lucidity, awareness etc. and which ones are the best to listen to. Also, how long do I listen to them and how long before bed?
Please help with this. :)

I've never had any success with them.

I think binaural beats are predominantly placebo. If you think they'll work, then they will.
Personally, I never had success with them, but I know of people who have. It's personal. Give it a go, it's not like you have anything to lose :)

I agree with realdealmagic completely. I never had any luck with them either, but it won't hurt to give it a shot. Try several different ones and see if one in particular helps you get where you're headed. I couldn't really give pointers of which ones to go for but I used to listen to them for 20-40 minutes directly before sleeping. Aside from that, I would often repeat inside my head "I will remember my dreams" or "I will become lucid" before sleep with varying success. I feel like the more time you spend on doing anything related to dreams whether it's binaural beats for you, doing reality checks, writing in a dream journal, or even posting on DV it will show your brain that it's important to you and the rest willl come naturally.

The problem is getting them from youtube. Every moron out there can download Gnaural and make a so-called "binaural beat." And none of these people have any clue what they're doing. If you want to use them to faciliate lucid dreaming, I just got done writing a nice little guide on that on the other thread in this forum, "Binaural Beats definitely helps Lucid Dreaming." Sorry, I haven't been registered long enough to link to it.
