Have a slight addiction to coffee. Also cigarettes but i'll kick that habit later.
Took 2 cups of coffee in the afternoon and deliberately denied any offers for more later on to see if it has an effect on dreams and dream recall. Going to bed in about an hour ^^
I was just wondering if anyone here on this forum tried complete abstinence or played around with different doses and could tell me anything about coffee's effect on recall and lucidity?
I find caffeine a bit of a boost for me. I'm weird like that. I find it really easy to get to sleep when I've had a bit of caffeine, and it helps a bit with awareness and recall. I don't have coffee (don't like the taste) but I have Chamomile tea and dark chocolate before bed occasionally. Mmm... chocolate.
Lulz! Ur not the only one. Friend of mine asked if i get him some cola because he wants to go to sleep. Ofcourse Chamomile is supposed to have a relaxing effect and dark chocolate both ups Serotonin levels and lowers blood pressure. Both beneficial for lucid dreaming i suppose. (Lowered blood pressure also means more calmt)
