Took 10g last night. Took a little to remember my dream but recalled it better than usual
I took 15 mg of melatonin 3 nights in a row. The first night I didn't recall any dreams. I did the other nights though, but they weren't any more vivid than those i normally have. And I heard that melatonin gives you interesting or weird dreams. That isn't true in my case for my dreams, when I take melatonin, are as boring as my other dreams.
Just a question out of pure curiosity: why do you take such large amounts of melatonin? Taking merely 3 mg will knock me out so thoroughly, that I can't even wake up for a WBTB-effort, and I certainly won't recall dreams.
How do you feel in the morning after a 10-15 mg dosis?
Mine were pretty vivid especially the touch aspect
I read that 10g is the best for dreaming. Idk if it's true that's why I'm experimenting with it
I'd suggest starting low first to see how it affects you, everybody is different and you could be taking too much, making it less effective. Also be sure to get plenty of sleep the nights you take it because from what I've read about the way it works is that it suppresses REM early in the night which causes a rebound effect in your later dream periods.
Tonight I didn't take anything. Really no different dream experience except it was harder to sleep
A few nights ago I took 3mg melatonin at bed time even though I was tired, I was hoping to induce a REM rebound effect in the morning for vivid (and hopefully lucid) dreams. I indeed had some of the best dreams I'd had in a while, loooooooooong vivid dreams with some trippy experiences and some lucidity and a bunch of lucid-like dream control and thoughts. I normally don't see weird beings in dreams (mostly just people and objects in mostly normal settings, sometimes distorted), but this time I saw a 3-foot tall dinosaur and a massive slug-shark thing, and I thought I was dream sharing (fake lucid memory):

I woke at about 5 hrs and had some recall, and generally felt like crap, somehow "altered." I was ready to swear off all supplement experiments it was such an unpleasant feeling, an unhealthy sort of feeling. It took me a long time to get back to sleep (Yuschak reports a similar experience, and prefers 5-HTP for REM suppression because of this). I think at least part of the quality of the dreaming that came later was due to the long BTB time.
