Where To Get The Most Reasonably Priced Supplements?

So now - I finally went about looking around, where to buy my first galantamine and choline.
After taking a peek at the prices - I guess, it could be useful to exchange information - probably I didn't come across the cheapest/best options just like that.

So please - share the information, you have gathered, while buying your supplements with us!!
But do not link up directly to a source - just tell us names and numbers!

Useful are supplier, brand-name/manufacturer, what is in it chemically, how many mg per single dose, how many single doses and for how much money.

I guess it is okay to ask, since I searched and found this thread: Where's the cheapest galantamine?.
I didn't "necro" it, though, because there are prices from years past in it - and even while stuff didn't really get cheaper - it's probably confusing.
But I will go through it again - unfortunately I couldn't quite handle a search on 3PoundUniverse for example, a tip from that thread ..Attachment 7065

I am after the classical newbie combination - but please use this thread for any and all other dream-supplements!
When I looked on Amazon, I found that GalantaMindTM is not like I expected a combi-preparation, but it just has the galantamine. Is there such a preparation? Just out of interest.

What most people seem to buy on Amazon are these two products - 73.54 $ together:

GalantaMindTM Starter - 4 mg galantamine - 90 caps - $63.96
Nature's Way - 500 mg choline-bitartrate - 100 tabs - $9.58

Can somebody maybe point me towards a cheaper starter-kit of that sort?

GalantaMindTM is indeed a mixture, different depending on the product. I have the "reduced serving starter" where one gelcap has 50mg vitamin B5, 100mg choline dyhydrogen citrate, and 4mg galantamine.

I will tell you though StephL, in all my experiments, the single most important thing that stands out is the WBTB itself. Most supplements either give me insomnia (so I don't dream, duh), or do nothing. But the few times that something did help, it always was accompanied by a (sometimes long) WBTB. So was it the supplement, or was it the WBTB? Well last night after a failed WILD attempt I had an excellent vivid dream that ended in a short but very clear DILD.

For some people the supplements seem to give earth-shattering LDs. For me they're all just "blah." With galantamine the verdict is still out, since it *definitely* keeps me awake, so maybe if I could get back to sleep I'd experience all that awesomeness, but so far, no. My experiments however are inconclusive since I have almost only ever tried it when travelling on the road, not in normal home sleep conditions.

But it's worth trying to see if it indeed works for you.

There's also a pure galantamine produce on amazon, "Galantamine 30 8mg Capsules" with a better price per mg/galantamine ($30.40 for 240mg galantamine, while the galantamind is $63.96 for 360mg galantamine). The pure galantamine is more flexible since it doesn't lock you in to the b5 and the choline dyhydrogen citrate. I've read that B5 doesn't help dreaming, but does promote insomnia, so maybe the pure one is better.

Pure is better, I think - so I can vary concentrations and I read exactly the same about b-vitamins.
Once I order something - I let you know.

I'd be curious if any of that works. I've tried every suggestion, that's not a pill, and they usually don't help. From bananas to mustard. Usually not much help.

Expectation, intention, self-awareness, memory, practice, dedication/determination, time :). That's the best pill. But I sure wouldn't mind one of those 2-hour mindblowing galantamine LDs :).

Dreamamins are decently priced galantamine.
You could try huperzine instead. Its way cheaper.

Is there a way to tell whether the supplement actually contains what it claims to?
I have seen some cheap galantamine and choline on eBay, but I'm not sure if pills you buy over the internet are regulated/tested for quality control.

I have been searching for galantamine without gelatin capsules, but I can't seem to find any. Life Enhancement (GalantaMind) take special orders for vegetarian capsules, but you need to order a minimum of 2 cases (24 bottles) and have a reseller's licence. So if anyone knows of galantamine that uses Vcaps or comes in lactose-free pill form, please let me know!

^^ How to tell quality? That's there choosing a good source is important. Be a chemist with a lab is the only other choice....??

I just remembered this thread and thought I'd post an update.
I looked into this and found that the supplements by Advanced Dream Nutrition (Dreamamins) have plant-based capsules and ingredients.
The people were very friendly and happy to answer my questions too, so I'll be trying those in future.
They have 3 varieties: Pro-Galantamine (4mg), Lucid Dreamer (+200mg choline), Dreamscape (+3mg melatonin)
60 capsules cost between $32-35 USD + shipping.

I'm really excited to try pure galantamine, without the B5 and choline that my GalantaMind brand contains, which may be what is keeping me awake. And the price is reasonable.

They've also got one with galantamine + melatonin, which I thought might help you get back to sleep. :)

The internet shops that sell nootropics tend to be worth a look. I know that Powdercity sell galantamine both as powder, and as capsules. I have only ever bought noopept from them, but they seem a respectable seller. (And very inexpensive, compared to most other sellers).

Wow, it sure does, their galantamine is not cut with other stuff, and the price is about 2-3 times less than other sources! They have piracetam, too, recommended by Yuschak for countering galantamine desensitisation.

In all fairness, I know rather little about the company, but there seem to be some positive things said about them over on Reddit (nootropics forum). When I first ordered from them, nothing seemed to happen, and when I asked them, they said that they were out of stock. They then promptly returned the money I had paid, into my credit card account. Later they were stocking the product again, and I bought it then, and it arrived in a few days (impressively fast, considering it had to cross the Atlantic).
