Vivid/Lucid Dreams with Prednisone?

Several years ago I had severe crohns disease and was put on a high dose of prednisone to help. After that my dreams became much more vivid and because of that, I was able to use MILD with a pretty high rate of success for a few months. Once my health improved and I could go off of it the lucid dreams went away and although I have been able to induce lucid dreams occasionally afterwords, it has never been with the same frequency as before. I talked to a sleep doctor about this and they said that the prednisone was likely the cause because apparently my brain is wired weirdly. I looked it up because I was curious but found no research on it so I was wondering if anyone else had this particular side effect?

Also I would not recommend this as a lucid aid. The health issues from the steroids outweigh any lucid dreams you get.
