Tried lucidimine last night...

So after my lucidimine finally arriving, I was too excited to wait for the weekend, so ended up ingesting it on a work night where I get woken up at 8am by my alarm. I'd been out for dinner that night so had had a beer, but then came home and at around 930pm and drunk some valerian root and mugwort tea. At 1030pm I took 100mgs of Vitamin B6 and listened to a guided sleep meditation until I was asleep by around 1050. I naturally woke up at 330 and recorded my dreams in my journal, I then read a book for 20 mins and finally took one lucidimine capsule at 4pm. I tried to go straight to sleep but ended up lying in bed until 8am completely wired. The whole thing just seems to be a blur now, but I know at one point I heard serveral screeching sounds, but never went into sleep paralysis as I was too stimulated. Most of the 4 hours was spent alternating sleeping sides, but it seemed to go by in a flash. I'm certain I didn't full asleep as I'm now extremely tired.

I've heard so many great things about these pills so I am extremely disappointed, I will be trying them again in the next couple of days, but will be waking up taking the pill and hopefully going straight back to sleep.

Does anyone have any idea of how to fall asleep before the capsule takes effect, I've read that galantamine peaks at around 50mins.

Any advice will be appreciated!

It's pretty common to experience insomnia when really excited about having lucid dreams, with or without supplements. It just takes time and experience to get over the excitement. B-vitamins are pretty stimulating, so you may not want to mix them with other supplements on the same night. This is why it's best to reserve supplement nights for those nights where you can sleep late.

What does lucidimine contain?

I find galantamine has strong dream effects even up to 7 hours after taking it, and the 2nd night after taking it always seems to have enhanced dreams as well.

One thing to do is to take a small bit of melatonin (0.3mg - 0.5mg) along with the galantamine, experiment to find what works for you, including waking time. I find 5 hours is too late and hard to get back to bed, if that remains try you may want to try 4 hours, 3 hours, etc.

Lucidimine contains:
Galantamine - 6mgs
Alpha-gpc- - 50mgs
CDP choline - 50mgs
Choline Bitrate - 100mgs
L - Theanine - 200mgs

Yes galantamine doesn't leave your system for 48 hours so that explains the 2nd night enhanced dreams.

Ahh yes unfortunately I am unable to get melatonin in the UK, will give it a try with valerian capsules though.

OK well the main thing is that there is not any B5 or B6 in there. I think you may have had much more success if you had just not taken B6 before bedtime.

It looks like a pretty good mix. I'd definitely add in more alpha-gpc (if you find it works for you) -- alpha-gpc is useful because it reaches peak blood levels in 3 hours. The other cholines are more or less "instant" acting, so taken together they give you two main choline bumps for the maximum effect.

The combo pills are convenient, but the problem with the combo approach is you can't find the minimal dose of the individual supps that works for you.

Yes considering the long term effect of the galantamine, taking it in the morning or afternoon may be one way to try to get some effect without suffering the worst of the insomnia effects. In my case I only have (now) Galantamind which has B5 in it, so perhaps afternoon/evening Galantamind would work for me.

These days, it's really easy to build your own combo of lucid supplements by ordering the separate ingredients cheaply in powder form. Then you can dial in the specific mix that will work for you. Thomas Yuschak's book Advanced Lucid Dreaming the Power of Supplements is a must if you want to understand what the whole point of these ingredients are. Then you'll notice, for instance, that the doses of various ingredients in Lucidimine are significantly different than his recommended doses. You can even try something like Huperzine A as a replacement for Galantamine. There's just no telling what will work best for your body. But the good news is it's relatively cheap to experiment in comparison to how expensive Lucidimine is.

Everything else is just playing the mental game that comes with this.....
try not to get too excited about this, practice staying calm.......relax.....and if something doesnt work the first time dont get discouraged.....keep working....diligently, but patiently.......try not to get overly happy or sad about your outcomes, keep a happy medium......and just work....dream-work...
and my advice, if you take supplements, lay off the teas......mugwort, blah......

dude......you dont need all that......valerian root and mugwort tea, b6, sleep meditation, then lucidimine???

i have experience with supplements. let me give you some advice.....

now you have two choices; u can
at night, take your b6 at dinner....maybe 7 or 8pm....
then take your melatonin 30 minutes before bed maybe 10pm or so....
then do a wbtb with lucidimine
or...
you can just take melatonin before bed, then take a B6 OR A lucidimine at WBTB.....not both together

and when you take melatonin, take at least a full milligram. 1 milligram is not going to hurt you.
.3 to .5 milligrams of melatonin isn't enough to get a GOOD rebound OF REM. The point is to get a big rebound, you not gonna get that taking .3 milligrams.
If you happen to have a good rebound after taking such a small dose is because you were gonna have a good REM session ANYWAY.....
My advice is to take 3mg of melatonin a half hour before bed. Take your Galantamine after 4.5 hours of sleep when you do your WBTB practice.
DONT TAKE GALANTAMINE and MELATONIN together.....The galantamine will make you burn thru your rebound period and you'll be energized and wired when you're supposed to be rebounding your REM....always take your melatonin BEFORE sleep and your Galantamine AFTER 4 or 5 hours of sleep....
I have some lucidimine but i rarely take it once i really knew i could go lucid without it......
its ok to mix supplements on the same night, you just have to know when to take them.
theres a reason the developer didnt put melatonin in the lucidimine recipe, he used Theanine......which is smart, because the theanine is to combat the stimulating effects of Galantamine without trying to push forward another REM the way melatonin would do....

in my home i have just about every b vitamin, and i have some lucidimine and some calea z extract tincture which is complete garbage btw....
i have some 5 htp and some valerian root as well......i even have some huperzine A......i bought all this shit when i first discovered lucid dreaming because i was excited and wanted to try everything....and i have tried many combinations.......

My advice......
if you trying to find out working formulas, start with your melatonin.
I recommend 3 mg half hour before bed. do this alone for a couple random nights and see what it does for you.
I've taken as much as 15 mg of melatonin, because i have migraine and cluster headaches, but thats another story.
Experiment with your melatonin dosage because i know everybodys different. Try 5mg of melatonin, then if you still feel groggy or drowsy after 7 or 8 hours of sleep then thats how you know you took too much.

and during your WBTB, try not to take galantamine with any b6 or b5, its too stimulating......you wont go back to sleep.....
lucidimine has galantamine in it, and choline......choline usually works best with b5.....
melatonin works great with b6
once you take galantamine, its gonna be in your system for a couple days.....i recommend taking your lucidimine once a week.....so it stays maximum effectful.....some people take it twice a week, but if you do that you might build up a tolerance to it....

I'm breathing life into this old post. lol I finally decided to take Lucidimine for the first time last night so this post attracted me. I was initially afraid of some weird side effect but decided what the heck, why not if others have tried it. So...last night, on a work week like you did, I tried it. The thing is, I tried it at my very last REM cycle which meant that if I didn't get that last hour sleep I would still be okay for work and not completely tired. I took the Lucidimine, stayed awake for about 20 minutes and went back to bed for an hour and 10 minutes before had to be up for work. I did get lucid but it was a weird lucidity. It was like watching my dream from a square thumbnail that would not expand. I wanted to fly and the landscape was as small as a thumbnail with my peripherals all black. I also felt as though I kept waking up to snooze my alarm but never snoozed it. It felt as though my finger was pressing that snooze button but it would not shut off after I "pressed it"...apparently with my dream finger. I also had a "succubus" experience. All this in an hour but felt like hours. One particular thing I noticed is that I was extremely tired. My body was extremely tired that it was almost impossible to stay lucid or do anything awake or while lucid. I don't know if it was the Lucidimine or the wbtb itself. I also had a glass of whiskey at a get together one to two hours before initially getting to bed. Lets see how my dreams are tonight after this stuff is still in my system since apparently it takes 48 hours to leave your system. I will keep experimenting. Glad I didn't have any bad side effects when health is concerned though!

I've gone through 2 bottles of Lucidimine with a success rate at about 98%; always just once a week and always with WBTB (saturday morning). The few times it didn't work, was because I came in late on the second REM cycle and wasn't tired enough to go back to sleep.. which made me consider that the 'up' effect of the galantamine had to be countered a little if I'm not tired enough at the WBTB - so I go with a bit of valarian as well. Which in general seems like a good idea once you get the feel of how much is needed.

While I do get LDs with WILD,MILD and DEILD, without supplements, the hit rate is something like 15-20% compared to the close-to-perfect success rate of Lucidimine usage. And even worse; the 'natural' LDs are very inconsistent. I can have 3 a week for a couple of weeks and then nothing for 1-2 months.... Needless to say I highly recommend Lucidimine :)
