Storing Calea Z tea for later use

      Hi,

I don't mind drinking Calea Z. Sure it tastes bad, but it's not as horrid as most make it out to be. I want to try drinking it during the middle of the night, as in waking up after four hours of sleep and then drinking it. However, I don't want to actually prepare it when I wake up. Will the plant lose its effects if I make it before I go to bed, store it in the fridge (or sit it on my desk) and then wake up to drink it four hours later? Or will it keep all its potency?

      Has anyone done this?

I have literally, in all my life, tasted anything nearly as atrocious as calea. And allegedly, that's the chemical. If it doesn't taste bad, you may not have the right version of Calea, but a different subspecies. It should taste like black and sadness.

As for storing, I have a vacuum sealer, and I leave it sealed up all the time. I know silene allows you to make it before bedtime then reactivate it, but I am unsure about Calea. It could lose the chemicals as it cools.

      Try it?

Yeah I think my tongue is just desensitized. Like it doesn't taste good, it tastes really bad, but in no way is it so bad to the point where I want to throw up.

I gave some to my roommate and he literally gagged and doused his mouth with drinks and mouthwash for the next half an hour. But I just don't react that way. I just don't mind the taste. Sure it's bad makes your tongue cringe but I guess it's a subjective thing. Like for example, some people like durian fruit, most people hate it.

Unfortunately I don't have enough time and Calea Z to conduct experiments in terms of "storing." I'll have to look deeper into it.
