Yuschak claims that high doses of Alpha-GPC (900mg and up) alone can induce LDs.

The absolute cheapest is probably melatonin, just a few dollars for a couple hundred mg, and just a few mg of melatonin can help produce REM rebound for more vivid and longer dreams in the later morning.

It's always hard to tell how much impact any given supplement has, because most of them only offer a tiny little boost to your chances -- they are no substitute for real techniques. That said, I've had good results with Alpha-GPC, even used on its own without galantamine.

I can second the recommendation for Alpha-GPC. I have had lucid dreams 2/3 times I have taken it without galatamine. Yuschak says 900-1200mg can trigger lucidity. I have had it work at both doses. He claims the 1200 mg dose is preferable if one is not taking galantamine with it.
