Damiana
Hello,
I had a little look and couldn't see much on the herb Damiana nor was it on the original list.
I am happen to have a whole heap of the dried leaves and one packet says it is good as an antidepressant, aphrodisiac and kindney tonic, but I am sure I read somewhere it is good for lucid dreaming.
I am interested to know if anyone has had any success with it and how they took it as a tea, smoked it etc? Does it have an accumulative effect I.e taking the tea over many nights?
Doesn't taste that nice but sure is a lot easier to swallow than calea :cheeky:

Damiana gives me more vivid and intense dreams but does not significantly increase chances for getting lucid for me. I usually combine it with cistrus for the taste and drink it as tea. This combination proved very successful overcoming the fatigue that often follows the common cold.
It's interesting that many aphrodisiac or tonic herbs are also helpful for LD. I'm thinking especially of celastrus, ginseng and yohimbe.

Thanks Raipat I will try it with some citrus. I haven't heard of celastrus or yohimbe but I love how they are often good on multiple levels with benefits to the body.
I had the Damiana tea last night before bed and I remembered a lot more of my dream that I normally do. Although I have also began taking B vitamin supplement so not sure if that has something to do with it.
If Daminana helps me to get more vivid dreams than that is still a huge benefit for me as I am sick of only remembering blurred fragments.
