How much of Calea to take effets?

Hi, I'm having a difficult time with dream recall, and lucid dreams. So I decide to try with Calea Z.

The first time I try... I couldn't! I made the tea, but it tasted really bad, I could not drink much, and I vomit it. :(
So I decided to make a second try with a very dilute tea. I make a tea with only one leave with 200 ml water.
(Sure, I was not expecting any results...)
Ok, I could drink it. And that night I had 5 dreams that I could remember. I usually remember 1, or 2. (some times more... but its rare.)

The question is, the tea really helped? What do you guys think? Or I need to make a much stronger tea?

Exactly, go the other way and make a stronger tea. It is going to taste horrible, no matter what, so use less water - but not less plant material. I typically use only one quarter of the regular amount of water - making the infusion 4 times as strong. But it doesn't taste worse because of that (4 times infinitely bad is still infinitely bad); there is 75% less to drink however - and that matters! :)

Also, use a straw to allow yourself to bypass the tounge and the front of the mouth as far as possible.

Ok i bought a 25gram baggy of this online so i have tried a few different ways of using it. Conclusion, it works, but not as much as you'd like. And more does not mean better.
I first tried the traditional 'tea with a herbal cigarette' option. Wow, this stuff is foul!! I had already tried a little leaf on my tongue to test for allergic reaction so i felt i knew what to expect, but no. it was worse. Far worse. It tasted like i was trying to drink my own vomit... So i let it cool down so i could down it in one thinkin i could pinch my nose and escape the bitterness. No chance. It left me with the aftertaste of bile and a rumbling nausea in my stomach. But in the name of science i finished it. I then lit up the doob... Ugh, it tastes like someones sprayed perfume all over the crappiest leafy bud u could find. Not nice but i smoked it up and went inside to lie down and contemplate why i was doing this to myself! Lol. Despite the fact that the thought of it made me grimace, the nausea soon passed and i was left feeling calm and slightly sedated. I went to bed. Slept great for about 3 hours then needed to go bathroom. When i got back to bed i could not sleep. At all. I laid there about 5 hours turning over every 15 mins to catch a glimpse of the clock and getting more and more frustrated. That was it for the calea i thought.
Then, a few days later, after managing to sleep soundly again i tried it in my arizer solo vape. It still tasted awful but it was much nicer than the tea and doobie. I vaped 2 bowls and went to bed. Had normal dreams really, although my sleep was very light and i remember waking up alot thinking 'have i slept??'. I read about its (potential) reverse tolerance theory and thought i will continue experimenting. I tried the vape method 2 more times. Both produced dreams but nothing particuarly unusual and it really seemed to mess with my deep sleep cycles. Unsatisfied i decided to order some 00 size gel caps. I ground the calea up and filled 12 of them aiming to take 2 as a start dose. I did so that evening but it woke me in the middle of the night again. So i decided to do them as a wbtb supplement instead. I usually get up to go bathroom around 2.30 everyday anyway so i used this natural waking instead of setting an alarm. I got up, took them with a glass of water and went back to bed. I managed to recall one very vivid dream the next morning. I have since perfected the dose;
Vape (or smoke i guess) 2 bowls 1/2 hour before bed. This makes u really sleepy and relaxed. Wash it down with a small glass of milk and a banana. This seems to counter the insomnia. At wbtb take 2 caps washed down with milk and when u get back to bed try WILDing. Idoser really helps with this (lullabye dose, lucid dream dose or insomoniac dose are my favs for wbtb.)
I have also tried up to 4 caps before bed (vivid but with some stomach discomfort) and 4 caps at wbtb (very light/patchy sleep after). Having said that, my first ever lucid i had was a wild experienced when i was unable to sleep. I believe the sleep deprivation helped my awareness but I felt awfull the next day. The vape before bed is not neccesary as ur early rem cycles are short and u prob wont remember those dreams ne way. I just tend to do it incase i sleep through my wbtb. Dont use it on consecutive days! Its much more effictive on a day u can have a lie in. Definately best as a wbtb supplement.

I brought some empty gel capsules and stuffed the dried leaves in there after I just could not handle the tea.
And then took two capsuals after WBTB. I don't find it has an effect on me though

Tea is the best way. ( NEver tried to smoke it ).
Caps don't work if you take only 2. Because a tea is made of 1.5gr of calea, so you've to put something like 1gr-1g5 of calea in your caps, that what I did, I took 10caps before sleep and it works :D

I order some calea from Ebay. I made some tea and the taste was horrible...a slap in the face. lol I couldn't get the bitterness out of my mouth either. So I decided to buy a pipe and smoke it. It's relaxing to smoke but I don't notice a difference yet. Maybe I need to smoke more of it. The problem with smoking so much is that your throat starts to hurt after a while. I did read about putting it into a capsule and doing it that way to avoid the horrible taste of the tea. The guy that told me about it says you have to use like 4 capsules or more to get the effects. Might try it that way this weekend for wbtb.
