5 HTP question
Due to my other half getting very annoyed that my constant kicking and sleep talking is keeping her up iv decided to try getting up at 6am and taking a 5htp then staying awake an hour then back to bed....will this work or does it take a while to kick in?
Im using 5htp to make my dreams more vivid and ofcourse to induce lucidity....thankx =)

5htp should be taken in the evening, not the moning. I will deepen you sleep.

5-HTP kicks in pretty fast, because it is basically like already processed L-Tryptophan.
But be carefull as if you stay up to long after taking it your body only produces Serotonin and not Melatonin (which you want).
I personally get the best result by taking a mixture of 5-HTP (fast acting) and L-Tryptophan (slow acting) before going to bed
and I avoid blue light for two hours before sleep.
I use filters for my phone since not using it for two hours seems like tortoure ;)
