Hiya! I was doing some research into foods that boost dream recall and found out about choline. I haven't eaten animal products in like 2 years (except fish oil). So that leaves out egg yolks, fish, beef liver, and dairy, which were all the main sources of choline. I eat lots of spinach, which is delivering me some choline, and nuts. But even if I maxed out on cauliflower, I would still need like 10 cups to get just 600mg choline.
So I bought 100 grams of choline bitartrate for like 10 dollars on amazon. Apparently a choline deficiency could cause brain fog and lots of symtoms I could relate to. But then again, any time I read a list of symptoms, I'm like, "Thats me!"
Most LD supp threads said to use Galantamine or Hup-A with it to inhibit the enzyme thingy. But I couldn't afford those. So do you think for someone with a choline deficiency, supplementing choline bitartrate alone (without galantamine or Hup-A) would make a difference?
I guess the powder will be here this coming Monday, so I will find out.
I also wanted to put this out there because I could see how vegan people might not realize this either. I take a multivitamin, B complex, Calcium/Magnezium/Zinc, D vitamin... (And I take fish oil even though its not vegan! I am afraid to go off it though! Its my only not vegan thing!)
