      Hi.
There is available online videos with persons in REM sleep? I searched it, but I found only a video with a infant sleeping in REM ( here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=821jGyD-7EM ). Do you know other locations where I can find videos with persons in REM sleep?

      Talking

      Nobody knows?
Anyway, today I recorded myself while sleeping(with a camera) and I have seen the REM
It was in the morning (after 5 hours of sleep, I guess) and I started to have REM after about 45-50 minutes after I fallen asleep (I guess that it took 10 minutes to fall assleep).

How about posting it on the internet. I would love to see someone in REM sleep. I too wonder what it looks like (now that I read this topic).

It's not that amazing to watch... trust me

Their eyelids twitch a bit, their breathing is irregular (occasionally they will gasp in a sharp breath of air), their fingers twitch some... and that's about it...

I used to watch my ex girlfriend when I could tell that she was in REM and wonder what she was dreaming about.

Is that why she's your ex ? Seriously though, I believe you. While it could be interesting to see, from watching the infant thing, I am not so excited about seeing a REMing person anymore.

I watch my baby boy sleep all the time.
Anyway, the reason why we give babies pacifiers is because sucking is an instinct they are born with - to eat - and it gives them comfort. When the baby is in rem he often does the sucking motion with his mouth. I always thought it was funny how it dosen't wake him up. I guess he is just dreaming about his bottle - or maybe something more natural than that!
