I was just wondering where I can get some binaural beats for free. I downloaded BrainWave Generator but i don't want to have to pay for it to get the lucid dreaming presets. I also wanted to know how much this actually helps?

It works perfectly. If you don't want to pay.. Then you're probably screwed. BWGen is in my knowledge the only good one out there. I can give you one hint on not paying though.. HARRHARR.

I actually purchased a license for BBS (Brain Sound Studio) from transparentcorp.com. They have other programs but to me it's worth the price. Really great software and I've had much success using theta tone and autosuggestion triggers!

As waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown. These waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown.

From above a rain of ashes descends anathema. I will remain, forever will remain. From below, in my seclusion, look up to the sky to see See paper wings and watch them burn.

I've been using an mp3 alarm program to triggers files played via studio monitors (speakers) which has worked quite well. I usually cant sleep well with head phones or earbuds. Of course you would need to export as WAV then convert to mp3 possibly depending on what the alarm program requires.

      Cheers!

Maybe you aren't relaxed enough. Have you used PMR or something else? Well, of course, you can be bodily relexed, but overexcited. Excitement kills bwgen's effect.
And you don't need to have it on all night long, half an hour will probably do, depending on the preset. Or less, depending on yourself.
It can help if you've already experienced what you aim for. For instance, if you've had vibrations before and you listen to Vibrations Starter preset, you might feel faint vibrations even in a minute or so (depending on yourself, of course). The body sort of recognizes familiar states, and bwgen gives you a boost.

You can covert your file. As long as its not a low bit rate, you will not loose any of the entrainment quality. I've converted my files to mp3 and had 3 lucids in one week using these files. TransparentCorp has posted the same thing in their community board. Obviously...though the WAV doesnt have any compression.

      Thanks!

True, especially if you are not used to them. I barely notice them now but I've been triggering these files for the last 6 months and I've grown to really epect them during sleep. Wierd.

What software can be used to convert? All the programs I tried can change bitrate. But not frequency. How can frequency be changed?
      [/b]
Well I'm using Brain Sound Studio which lets you pick your htz and export to WAV. Then I convert to mp3.

Im on a MAC and I use Amadeus II (OSX) but any program that converts WAV to mp3 should work fine. For PC I imagine cool edit and or Sound Forge should work fine.

Are you trying to creat frequencies without a binural beat program? What is your source for generating the tones if not?
