Thread: Melatonin And B6

I'd reccomend either taking one or the other. I use melatonin only (one pill per night only when I think I need it), and I sleep so well. Plus I have vivid dreams occasionally (sometimes they're pretty bizarre though).

100 mg of B6 is the tolerable amount set by I think the FDA.

Krista, how much is in the pills you take of melatonin?

Also would it be bad if I took two pills instead of one? I doubt I'd overdose or suffer any ill effects, but would it increase the vividness of dreams?

3 mg per pill. I've never taken two before, but my friend does sometimes on nights when she's really having trouble getting sleep. I'm sure it's not harmful to take two, but you might be more drowsy in the morning.

As for the vividness, I'm not sure if it wuold increase it. I'd take two tonight so I could let you know, but I'm already extremely tired as it is, and I have to get up early in the morning, lol.
