I am currently sick at the moment and to help me fall asleep ive tried nyquil for the first time...

I know this has been mentioned before in another thread but WOW!! I remembered 6 dreams (usually only remember 1 or two) I also managed to have my third lucid dream...

Can anyone explain why this may occur?? Is it the drugs??

my own personal theory is that the drugs ment to make you sleepy are also bringing you into REM sleep sooner and longer...

      has anyone else tried this??

Erm I dunno. Could you tell me what Nyquil is and what it's Supposed to do?

I presume Nyquil is the Brand Name? Can you look on the Bottle and tell me the Pharmaceutical name?

And actually Most Drugs that are ment to help you asleep will Plunge you into a long Come-like deep sleep with little to no Dreaming REM-sleep. Usually Depressants and Relaxants surpress REM-sleep.

Nycquil is a little different though, when i was younger me and friends would take massive ammounts of nyquil then wrestle (Any hyper active activity) And once you got past the sleepyness it was awsome, everything was helarious, it was a little like being drunk, but things were much funnier.

Smilie, you should not take nyquil for a few days then try it again, cycle that a few times to see if there really is a differance, if there is you should experiment with differnet doses, if you notice a difference within a week or so of cycling ill start also, i dont have much Lucid experiance, but i have decent Dream Recall.

While I was sick a few months ago, I was taking some cough medicine and had two low-awareness lucid dreams.

Huh wow... I've never noticed anything different when I've been taking medication. Nyquil. The only thing I do to improve recall is occasionally eat a banana before going to bed.
