      2000% B6

Well me and my friends were coming home from school a few days ago and on the way we went into a convenience store. On the counter they had this stuff called '5 hour Energy'. I bought some just as a joke and drank the whole bottle. I was hyper for 5 hours. I later found out that small bottle had as much caffeine as a cup of coffee

      [B]Anyway heres the impotortant part.[B]

When I read the nutrition label i found out that the stuff has 2000% of a recomended daily dose of Vitamin B6. In retrospect it probably wasn't such a good idea to drink it all at once. But I figured those of you who think B6 helps Lucid dreaming might want to give it a try in small doses.

If you are interested, here's a link to their website:

      40mg of B6 isn't really that much
If you think you can't, you're right.

Only equal to one cup of coffee.. I must be an addict I normally have an espresso shot added to my Latte (which is an espresso shot with hot milk) and rarely feel buzzed enough to work through the day lol

      I take 300 mg a night of B6
but also take 3 natural valerian to sleep too.
Not harmful, but the valerian gets you to sleep and later the B6 cuts in.
Seems to need your body to get used to this, but a week later I am pirating with Captain Jack.
Now I need to work on my RC's to Lucid in them.

Can someone tell me about this B6? Like what is it, how much does it cost, and so on. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this.

It's a water soluable vitamin that helps with metabolism and makes your mind sharper. Specifically it increases dream recall, vividness, and even lucidity. It's fairly cheap, about the same as any other vitamin, you can get it as any pharmacy (even Walmart and Kmart) over the counter. You could probably get a hundred pills for only a few dollars.

Also buy som Choline Britrate and take a tablet with the B6.
They work together, but I won't go into the technical reasons.
      When I wake at around 4.30am I take a 650mg Choline and a 100mg B6 Tablet.
It gives more enhanced dreams and awakens you a little so as not to go back into deep sleep.
      Last night/morning I recalled 5 dreams.

Thank you, ninja9578, and DreamChaser. I'm going to buy these next time I'm in a drugstore.

I find it's best taken early morning, like 4am for dreams.
By the time you go to work and settle in, it should be half/all through your system. The effects it gives I wouldn't take it just before work.

That's a great way to use it DreamChaser, for your dreams.

B vitamins work great when trying to WILD since they make you more alert and help keep you awake.

Taking them later in the sleep cycle after you've already had some sleep is a much better idea than taking them before going to bed as they will help keep you awake, which is what you want if you are trying to WILD, but not want you want when first going to bed.

hmm...so B6 is mainly good for WILDing, and keeps you "awake" as you sleep? Maybe that's why it doesn't seem to work for me, then. I do mostly DILDs. I need to be pretty darn exhausted (or REM-rebounding) in order to WILD. So much for that...

No dream goals at the moment...just flying and letting stuff happen is kinda fun, and it's hard to motivate myself to try LDing lately.

      Thanks iadr.
When I try to WILD it is using Billy Bobs method where you lay on your back and focus on your breathing and counting your breaths, and not thinking of dreams, etc.
I always seem to just end up meditating and staying awake. Any ideas?

Too much concentrating on something such as counting breaths or visualizing numbers keeps me awake also DreamChaser, so I just try to visualize things that require less concentration, like feeling myself floating around my house, or picturing myself in a very peaceful setting somewhere.

Anything you can visualize that causes dream images to start flowing into your mind will be helpful when trying to WILD.

There is a technique called Seeded Visualization where a person visualizes doing something they want to do in their dream by going over and over it in their mind until their subconscious mind finally picks up on the thoughts and turns them into a dream, but I have yet to get it to work for me.

I didnt read the whole thread so i dont know if this has already been answered. But i bought a bottle just now at Walgreens. for 3.99. It is a 100 day supply. And each tablet has 2000% of the daily amount you need. So... in short, very cheap if you go to the right place.

What time do you go to sleep and wake up when you take it at 4?
