You feel super relaxed. What aspiring WILDers call 'sleep paralysis' (not really sleep paralysis, but it feels like you are so relaxed that you don't want to move). Basically, just really relaxed. You'll still hear outside noises, and you will always be aware of what's going on. A good trance also has focus. I find that when it's induced by someone else, it's easier to focus (when you are inducing trance by yourself, the mind has a tendency to wander quicker).
