hmm, just keep an acurate dream journal, and RC often, and when you RC HOPE TO GOD that you really are dreaming! Because you really could be dreaming!
Try a DIELD then! its like a WILD+WBTB but a little difrent!

have you read 'exploring the world of lucid dreaming'.
im very new to all of this, but this book , WOW. im 1/5 of the way through and iv stopped reading because iv read so many great techniques, and i wanna try them all out.

but there is an overall message (that iv gathered so far), its that lucid dreaming is not JUST somthing fun to when you go to bed. its part of a way of life, a state of thinking.

we have to think of lucid dreaming, not as a light switch and that all these different techniqes (WILD DILD MILD) are ways of turning the light switch on. but rather lucid dreaming is a result, a result of our changed state of mind.

it all links back to tibetan budism.

bottom line, the main techniques shown in these forums should be done on top of the 'lifestyle change'
eg throughout the day (10 to 20 times) do state checks, question whether you are dreaming, try focusing on particular objects to see if they distort, think back a couple of minuets to see how you got to where you are. then on top of this try WBTB etc.

I doubt the mp3 will directly guide you to a lucid dream, what IS it? Though simply doing a wbtb, recording your dreams, doing some autosuggestion, and then trying to go back to sleep sounds enough like it could give you a lucid. But if you're at the point where you are talking about cures, I'd say your biggest inhibition is that you're stressing out too much over lucid dreaming. Try just relaxing and keeping up with reality checks and giving it time to happen.

A DEILD is literally the complete and absolute opposite of a WBTB+WILD, and a pretty easy method to do. http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=62769 <- tutorial

A personal yet unnecessary interpretation. A person can view their lucid dreams however they want to and still achieve them, if they put in the effort. The buddhism thing is one interpretation, but yes raising overall awareness will help you in your efforts to become lucid. I'm not sure that's dramatic enough to call a lifestyle change, it's simply raising awareness of your own actions and environment. Viewing them as simple fun while asleep also works, as probably does the entire gradient in between.

But like I said, one thing that probably won't work is stressing out about it like you seem to be doing. Commonly people who do so are told to Just Relax!
