Will peppermint candy work for lucids?

Ive seen peppermint candy mentioned before, and when I had some before I went to bed, I remembered my dreams better, do you all know anything about if peppermint candy is good for lucid dreaming or dream recall?

I've never heard of that theory.
I eat peppermint candies and I don't see any difference when I don't eat them.

why start a topic about an ungrounded claim someone you can't remember once made?
If we're gunna go guessing at what might make us lucid and make a topic about it this forum is soon flooded with "food/drink/supplements that don't work"-topics.

Will apples work? Maybe lemon will work. Or maybe grapes will helpinduce vivid dreams. What about maple syrup?
We could start guessing, but instead we could also try reading some information on dream enhancers and their chemical make up.
Maybe try something a little more well known like the Dreamherbs Silene Capensis, Calea Zacatechichi, Salvia Divinorum and Enthada Rheedi. Or try something else which also is already known to induce vivid dreams like Galantamine+Choline, 3 Datura seeds before bedtime or a chocolate bar. And IF you're going to try experimenting with other household foods and drinks, try each of them a couple of times and watch for results. If one of these foods or drinks yield any consistent, continual positive, significant results then it is safe to say you've found soething that enhances dreams. If you do let us know in a topic. But first conduct some thorough, conclusive research before you post a topic.

Personally, I've never heard of peppermint candy used for lucids, though I've seen a few posts here and there about peppermint tea, though I haven't found any evidence from my own experience.

Patrick, I'd suggest sticking to good old awareness and a dream journal over rotting yourself away with candy on the slim chance it has a dramatic effect.

Each moment you live is unique, with endless factors that could contribute to your recall. Unless you live strictly on routine and eating peppermint candy was the only thing bizarrely out of the norm and taken in great quantity, I'd be guessing it have been other, more common factors.
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.
