      Galantamind

Ok so i tried something different.

I went to sleep for 8 hours, woke up for 2 hours, took 2 galans and fell back asleep.

At some point i remember lying in bed and i got the feeling i usually get from the galans.

I started feeling a very strong sensation all over my body and a continuous feeling of going in circles and falling at the same time, all the while i had colors waving over my closed eyes. I remember I could see a ball of blue light that would move around and i would try to follow it. At one point i kind of was able to make it change into different images. Also i could hear some kind
      of song in my head.

Now this is what usually happens when i take them, and from what im guessing should mean im close to being lucid. But I never seem to get past it. This time i layed there for close to 30 minutes and the feeling never stopped, it just kept going, until at 1 point i almost really did feel like a rollercoaster-ish drop feeling.

I remember i opened my eyes but didnt move and i actually saw colors going over my eyesight while they were open. When a wave of vibrations would hit, the colors would shake and get static like. But when i moved my arm, it went away and i was just lying there.

So apparently i can get to the door of lucidity, but i cant open it. I've had this same experience almost every time i have taken galan, usually i do it after 3 hours of sleep, but I can never get past this spot.

If any of you more experienced LD'ers can help me with this, because I literally lay there and think to myself, "Well, what Should i Do now", Should I keep lying here for another half hour or should I try to get up" ?

Cut down the dose to 1 (4mg) and try it a few times at that level.

I find 2 just keeps me awake - too much so - and Im a 200 pound 40 year old male - so if you weigh less than this then the effects are probably worse.

      Sometimes less is more.

If Galantamind hits you like it hits me then Im in trouble if I dont get under VERY quickly.

Dont forget also it takes 48 hours to leave the system. Its recommended to take a few days off between doses or you will become sensitized to it and its effect will diminish.

I would recomend 1 4mg galantamind + a couple of Alpha GPC's or Choline with at least 2-3 days off between attempts.

      Evildoctor is right.
I can add that I use 1pill Lucid Dreamer (4mg Galantamine + 200mg Choline) Actually to make it work you need Choline in similar propotions. Read some threads on DV. Anyway, even this makes me too alerted (I can just lay for hours) and I add always 200mg LTheanine and 0.7mg Melatonin to balance it and make getting asleep easier. These two have the advantage over Valerian that suddenly just knock you out. As the result it works wonders. Recently (after 4h of sleep) I take the whole combo and lay on side waiting usually 1h. At that time I check the time (take my clock in hand) and come back to bed laying on side. Somehow I decide to "go deeper" and in seconds I go through the threshold finding myself floating next to my bed like it would be the easiest thing on Earth. By "going deeper" I mean getting asleep consciously. After many years of unsuccesful WILD/OOBE attempts my body knows somehow how to do it.
Maybe this will help - try to WILD on side.

      Hi Nihao:

Did you read the book by Thomas Yushak: Advanced Lucid Dreaming - the Power of Supplements? Dynamite. Why do you take Theanine?
