Cool question about melatonin and dreaming

I want to know what can it do for dreaming, i read somthing about it breifly.
But i usually take 1 pill every night because i cant always sleep well. But each pill is 5 mg, and it says it has vitamin B6. If i took like an extra one or two would it effect dreaming much. Like chance of becoming lucid or just vivid dreaming?

Moved to Lucid Aids. Thanks, no-name.

May I mention, no "Lucid aid" causes lucid dreams... They can only help.

Some say Melatonin gives more vivid dreams. I have enver experienced that myself, so I can't say yes or no one the subject. These more vivid dreams then have a higher chance of LDs.

Here is ninja's thing about it.
      Bollocks.

I can't say that melatonin helps my lucidity, but I can definitely say that it makes my dreams much more vivid. I started taking it about two months ago (at most) because I suffer from a sleep disorder... it helped to regulate my sleep better than anything I have ever tried. I don't take it nightly anymore... basically only when I know that I'll be able to sleep in, just because I dream more when I sleep later, and it helps me dream more vividly. It's just fun
