Question
I was wondering if there's any way I can make a lucid dream mp3 audio start while I am in REM sleep. The thing is that I have trouble falling asleep with the music so I was wondering if there's any ways I can make it go off during REM sleep WITHOUT an alarm clock, because I don't want to wake myself up. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!

If you know when your REM periods are, most mp3 players have time delay features built in. Read through the manual and see what you can do.
If you don't know when your REM periods are, use a REM detector. I know they exist, but I don't know if they are available commercially.
Or, get an audio-editing program like Audacity and just add a block of silence to the beginning of the mp3. You can start it when you go to sleep because you won't hear anything.

Oh, but what about an ipod touch? Do you know if they have a built in time delay feature?

I don't know of a native function for the Touch, but you may have luck searching for an app that will do this. I don't have an iPod myself, but maybe search for an alarm clock application that will play a song instead of a beeping noise?
