Things are not as they seem
It varies, but for most people, a single shot of coffee can stay in the system for 6-12 hours, or longer. In small doses, though, it can *theoretically* keep the conscious mind awake a bit more while the rest of the body goes to sleep. |

The more melatonin in your system (at night), the slower your metabolism. That's why a cup of coffee in the morning only will wire you for like 2 hours, but why exo's 4 o'clock coffee keeps him up. |
