5-htp or B6?
Okay so I had a lucid dream two nights ago and I was fully aware that I was in a dream and at one point I imagined myself in a room of doors, so I opened a door.
When I opened it I was thousands of feet above the clouds. I took a minute to look at the scenery and I noticed it was like blurred around the edges and th top left corner was a huge blur. And the stuff I could see was like a cartoon. Now I'm willing to try just about anything to get my dream vividness up so what is the best thing to take/do to increase dream vividness? I've heard of 5-htp and B6 so far but is there anything better?

Galantamine has a pretty high success rate.

5-htp is the precursor to Seretonin.
Taking 5-htp will suppress REM for the first 4-5 hours of sleep, resulting in (hopefully) REM rebound in the remaining hours. It's not a direct lucidity aid, but obviously can help condense your dreaming hours into one large chunk, which is handy because your dreams will be longer. This will allow you to focus your lucidity efforts during the rebound.
Galantamine works on a completely different process, and is an acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitor. Acetylcholine (ACh) is a vital brain chemical for the formation of memories and similar processes. AChE breaks down ACh.
During sleep AChE levels increase, and this is one of the reasons we cannot remember our dreams, and why our mental functioning in dreams is reduced. Galantamine blocks AChE, allowing for higher levels of ACh... giving us that increased mental performance, and hopefully lucidity. Galantamine also modulates nicotinic receptors in such a way as to make them more sensitive.
A good combination is taking 5HTP before bed, waking up after around 5 hours sleep, take some Galantamine, and return to bed. As such you should have a long period of REM with increased mental functioning.
