How can I make myself eat a capsule a day? I swear, it smells like pee. It's a soft capsule that can be chewed, and I'd prefer to chew it, as I can't seem to gain the mentality to swallow pills. I'm fine with whatever it'll taste like, but the smell... Ugh, I always gag when I try taking one.
Help?
By the way, I'm not going to just go to the drugstore and buy a whole new bottle of B6, because my parents would think I'm crazy and going to 'extreme lengths' to LD.

Try placing the capsule under your tongue, then glugging back a glass of water. The capsule should hopefully be gone without you knowing. :P
Pinching your nose is incredibly effective. I didn't really try it until I had to swallow medicine that smelled like pure chlorine... It works miracles.
LOL @ this thread. Damn if you guys think B6 tastes/smells like shit...don't ever try Valerian Root. That stuff works like a charm at getting me to sleep but holy shit it is so nasty...(unless you get the coated "odor control" tablets) :lol:
Seriously though, I don't think B6 is supposed to smell THAT awful. Mine doesn't. It has a mild scent. I actually enjoy it a little bit. Perhaps your vitamins have gone bad? Smelly vitamins might be rotten vitamins. You should really get a new bottle.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to take B6...it is a vitamin...you need it. It's healthy. If your parents have a problem with you wanting to take vitamins...well...strange parents. :?
edit: also if you have to take them, then you could try crushing them up and adding it to orange juice or something like that

I just checked the expiration date for my vitamins, and they're almost 1 months expired. I'll probably ask my parents to get new ones, because I think they take B6 too.
