V8 juice?

Would V8 fruit Juice have the same effect as apple juice on LDing? We have lots at my house, and it tastes pretty good. I was thinking it might work because it does have some apple juice but i dont know if it would be enough.

Also (a little off topic here, but) would this help with acne too? I have acne pretty bad, and i was told by a friend that too much soda causes acne.... and i only drink about 5 cups of water a year. Seriously, i just drink dr pepper. like a week ago was the first time i had had water in about 4 months. Was thinking maybe by drinking V8 or apple juice i could kill 2 birds with one stone?

also my lips are allways dry and peeling ( not very attractive, though it is not that noticeable, it feels bad to the touch) and i was hoping maybe this would get rid of that too.

other than the soda, it eat pretty good, like not much deep fried food, normally pasta and soups.

Apple juice has certain vitamins that help induce LDing, which is why people drink it. If V8 has those vitamins, I'd go for it.

On the topic of lips, mine are pretty dry and cracked too, no matter how much water I seem to drink. =/ It's pretty annoying, huh?

Finally, it's been proven that chocolate, soda, and lots of other foods don't contribute to acne. Acne's caused by clogged pores and not your diet (I eat chocolate and soda like nobody's business!). Hope that helps a bit. =P

that is dissapointing about the acne and dry lips, but I think that the V8 should have the vitamens like apple juice, so that is good at least.

I may do further research on the acne part though. It may not be too much soda, but too little water/juice. Acne is clogged pores, but certain things make you more reactive or make it easier for them to get clogged, like oily skin. I keep my face cleaner than most of my friends, and yet i am the only one with acne. It has also been proven that oily skin causes acne, and that that can be caused by dehydration and stuff.


I dont want to have to go through acutane, so i think i will choose to think that It will help :) maybe the placebo effect will work
