Thread: How quickly does Galantamine act?

I'm curious about this too. I tried it for the first time last night, during WBTB. It did not cause me to have lucid dreams, but I did have a low-grade nightmare. I stayed up too long though during WBTB and was having a hard time falling asleep again. Over 2 hours elapsed between my taking the galantamine (Lucid Dreamer company formula) and starting to dream. I suspect it is so fast-acting that it was out of my system by the time I finally got dreaming again.

What I'm going to do next time I use it is wake up after 6 hours, take the pill, and let myself fall back asleep immediately. I used to be able to have LDs on demand but I'm out of practice and thought I'd try the pharmaceutical shortcut.

claims that it peaks after one hour. So, I'm thinking I'll take it as soon as I wake up for WBTB and then go to sleep after half an hour. It should be peaking in the early portion of my next REM cycle.

I usually feel the GM kick in about 20 minutes after taking it.
