That or maybe you'd just lacked sleep prior and got to make it up that night when you took the melatonin supplements? I'd recommend going easy to start off with when taking any supplement, but that's me and my 'careful' side. :D

Funnily I can't sleep very well when I take two... but one (3mg) is fine. And don't worry about the break. The body is equipped to remove melatonin out of you system as soon as it gets bright again. (This is why lots of people wake up at dawn)
