Makes sense, I went on a chocolate rampage the other night because there was no food in the house, I ate like 6 Aero bars a whole bag of chocolate raisins 1 profiterole and 2 ice creams, I know its not healthy, was pretty tasty though!

I had some pretty vivid dreams that were actually pretty cool, so i would say "Yes" it works

I'm trying out the chocolate thing tonight; I'll report back here and say whether or not I noticed any difference in my dreams

Ok, I'm going to say that the chocolate thing is true. I didn't happen to go lucid the nights that I last tried tried it, but my dreams were definitely more vivid. I picked up on lifelike details that most of my dreams don't have, or inaccurately portray.

Of course there is the possibility that simply expecting my dreams to be clearer made them be so, but I won't get into that...

I have never heard of it; but if it is true, it is really a pleasant way to induce lucid dreaming. I really can't wait to try it out. Maybe I should try some chocolate tonight.

Luciddreamer000, it's actually not a way to induce a lucid dream, it just makes dreams in general look more vivid. Obviously, increasing dream clarity is still a cool thing, but I just thought I should warn you that you won't have an LD solely because you ate chocolate

Chocolate has caffeine in it, and also milk (or atleast in milk chocolate) which are both supposed to make your dreams more vivid. I'm sure there's probably tons of other stuff that helps out as well.

Which chocolate is best in you guys opinion? Maybe we should do some real research on this! Best vividness aid possible, if you ask me.

Anybody here heard of Fudge Rounds? Little Debbie makes them...I just get 'em at Walmart. I've gone to eating one of them (the large kind, not the smaller version) about an hour before bed and I'm not kidding, all my dreams are way more vivid! I wonder what eating two would do...

True, tea would be better for teeth, but if you're comparing the flavor, I'd say chocolate wins

I don't know about cooking chocolate, but i don't think i had a lucid that night i had choclate, but i'll try it again tonight, i had some chocolate donuts about a night or so ago maybe two niights ago but i can't recall the dream to see if its vivid. I'm gonna try some chocolate donuts or a chocolate bar to see if it made my dreams vivid. I honestly didn't know if the chocolate thing were true or not and i forgot where i found it but i did a search engine search and typed choclate and dreams or something.

For those with diabetes, (I don't have it) but for those who have it chocolate wouldn't be a good thing. But here's what i'm saying, chocolate has choline in it, and i've read around the internet that one of choline's functions to make you dream more. So i guess its mainly the choline and not the chocolate itself, i have to research again.

Dark Chocolate- The darker the better. Get the kind that has the highest cocao content. 70% to 90%. It won't taste delicious- it won't even be sweet, but it will contain the highest amount of active ingredient. The darker stuff is actually considered a health food now, as it is a strong anti-oxident.

(Warning: DO NOT eat chocolate while taking Yohimbe supplements. It may be dangerous, or even fatal.)
